Movie Info

Babysitter is an ultra-cheap exploitation feature aimed at the drive-in circuit. Patricia Wymer, who is cast in this film for two important reasons, plays a seductive baby-sitter who takes a job at the home of a powerful district attorney. She goes to work on the D.A., then holds him up for blackmail money. This is the sort of film where the principal source of entertainment lies in the number of times the actors flub their lines, and the frequency with which one can spot the microphone boom. Of … More

Audience Reviews for The Babysitter

Not a bad little movie, it came from the Drive-In Cult Classic Volume 3 Collection, and it is a bad little movie, bad meaning there is plenty of T&A throughout this movie, now I know why my Dad went 20 miles away to the XXX rated theater when I was growing up, I about flipped one time when I was walking by that theater and there was my Dad standing in line- Holy Bat Turd Batman. Anyway a movie where a sweet young thing (Patricia Wymer) named Candy, who seduces a District Attorney (George E. Carey)that Lucky Dog. He is working on giving a guy the death penalty, when his girlfriend tries to save him by taking pictures of the attorney and his Candy. Plenty of Bedroom Scenes, a lesbian scene, it gets pretty wild, so I would let little Alice or Georgie see this one, But when it comes to Drive-In Classics I have to give this one a 3 1/2 stars.

A little something off the To-Watch PIle from the Drive In Cult Classics set, this was a decent little way to kill about 90 minutes.

It's neither great nor bad, but it's a watchable blackmail thriller that doesn't overstay its welcome. It features some pretty awful acting, but that's the basic charm, it just doesn't know what the fuck it's doing.

Worth a peep, but nothing special.

Oh, the free love '60s. When hot teens wanted nothing more than to get it on with old, boring dudes. Also, motorcycle gangs with marijuana were the scariest thing the nation could imagine. Totally dated exploitation romp with tons of T & A and the word "groovy." Fun stupid.
