This drama, set in Lima, Peru, circa 1714, tells the tragic tale of a town's reaction to a disaster involving the mysterious collapse of a local bridge. The trouble begins after a aged bridge suddenly falls taking five people with it. The superstitious locals, believing the patron saint of the bridge, St. Louis, has gone, rush to church.
