Surprised by how broadly one can make those two shapes engagingly interesting. The script is consistently interesting and the narrative is always throwing curveballs into the mix. By the end of this short, you'll find yourself surprisingly absorbed in its plotline.

"The Dot And The Line" is a brilliant animated short from director Chuck Jones about a straight line that falls in love with a dot is spectacular beyond belief. Also a lesson in mathematics too. Winner of the 1965 Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Its a must see for fans of Chuck Jones' work.
