Audience Reviews for The Glass Wall

Compact little noir with a nice feeling for the late night NYC 50's life. Gassman is suitably tortured with the great Gloria Grahame as a rough, tough nice girl down on her luck and Robin Raymond as a seen it all stripper with a good heart. Nice musical score also helps.

this movie must have been the source for the tom hanks movie about the guy in the terminal, except gassman has a better accent and doesn't sound like he's doing boris badenov or akim tamirof. the story is unlikely in some ways, but it is very well done. it also shows manhattan before the u.n gardens were landscaped and the els were torn down. is that any reason for someone who hates immigrants to watch it? i think so. this story is still taking place in this country and others. and it has early jack teagarden, too. check it out.
