always loved the TV Shows of both He-Man & She-Ra cartoons when I was a kid, but for some strange reason, I actually never knew that this film existed back a year after I was born.
a classic, as far as I am concerned. love it.

One of my favorite cartoon movies. Even though it is old and only ninety minutes. I would love to watch this movie again.

I was a big fan of He-Man when I was a kid, so I was excited for this little movie when it came to home video. I also like little origin stories, even if they're in cartoons like this. Today, Masters of the Universe doesn't hold up totally well, but it always has a positive message to it and seems to have a point besides just attempting to sell toys for a company (Mattel). He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword was an attempt to get girls in on the fun, and while I can't say it worked all that successfully, it's still a fun watch. It feels like a very long episode of each show in retrospect, but I found myself caught up in it all the way through, which tells me everything I need to know about it. It's not perfect but it will bring a smile to your face, especially if you were a fan of one or both of the characters and their TV shows.

Gentle, caring, and the best animated movie I've ever seen. The drawings and animation are exquisite. Peace, joy, and love just radiate from the screen and characters, and that is a message sorely lacking in today's movies.

I loved this as a kid, and I thought my kids might enjoy it. Watching it again, I thought it was really boring and apparently so did my kids.

This was up on Youtube as a "featured" video (I have no clue why), and I decided to watch it because it's been years upon years since I last saw anything He-Man related. Well, it was terrible. The animation was stiff and jarring. The dialogue was trite and dumb, and all the characters were imbicilic.

This Animated Movie is one of the reasons I loved She-Ra the Princess of Power it has a good story line, dramatic moments, and one of the best damned action scenes that was all created during the good old 1980's era.

He-Man discovers he has a twin sister and sets out in search of her.

Fairly standard 1980s Saturday morning cartoon fare, with poor animation and even poorer storytelling -- seriously, it seems to go on FOREVER -- that doesn't hold up at all over time. Except for the emerging gayness of He-Man/Prince Adam, which after having not seen this for 20 years, proves most enlightening and entertaining!

Oh come on people my first ever concert was He Man and She Ra on ice!

He Man seemed to be the big adventure cartoon for boys of the time, so why not introduce his heretofore unknown sister and get ther girls in on it? She Ra, for what it was, a marketing tool, wasn't half bad as a cartoon fantasy. The classic idea of finding a lost sibling who happens to be very much like the brother is somehow touching at times. The story was well thought out, on a level better than the series, but then they made a cartoon from this. That wasn't so great.
