The fascinating life of lasso-twirling funnyman Will Rogers is explored in this documentary narrated by comic legend Bob Hope and originally aired as part of NBC's Project Twenty series in 1961. Originally rising to fame as a lariat trickster for Texas Jack's Wild West Circus, Rogers' irreverent, off-the-cuff quips soon gained greater popularity than his eye-popping rope skills.
