It has a light touch, a brisk pace and considerable charm, perfect family fare for casual viewers.

Why is Jill Lawless a Top Critic, when this is only her first review?

I'm not positive, but I'm guessing it's because she works for the Associated Press.

I firmly disagree. This children is way too violent to be shown to young kids.

This children is way too violent to be shown to young kids? For one, that makes no sense; even if it's all in your poor grammar. I can make out what you MEANT to say; but even then, it's still irrelevant. This film is rated PG. If it was really of concern, then it would have gotten a PG-13, at least. I'm sure it's a pleasant family film.

Obviously I haven't seen Tintin...but given how the source material is complete and utter shiite, I don't see how anyone could have made the film anything worth while...
Oh and why the hell is it even animated? I could see if they tried to make the characters look like they do in the crap drawn comics...but since they basically look like real people with minor prosthetics, why not save a bundle and make it with real actors?
Utter waste of time for everyone involved...

You should have done yourself a favour and stopped writing after you said that you had not seen the film.
