Hergé was the pioneer of an even-handed style of cartooning with solid lines and no shading that became known as ligne claire, but there is a decided lack of clear lines in this erratic movie adaptation of his work.

Movie was totally erratic and all over the place. I found myself looking at my watch half way through, eager for it to be over. Spielberg is losing his touch, big time. Spielberg is no Walt Disney. This is an odd movie with little joy in there. The 3D? Man, you guys are really milking this fake 3D for 3extra bucks arent you?
