Horror of Giant Lizard < Horror of Adolescence
This is a very unprofessional review and I am not just saying it because it's a negative review. If this guy even posts positive reviews of a movie on the website I would probably be surprised.

When someone uses words like "fuc*ing" in his review then I don't really know why this person is a reviewer..he should be fired and someone like that shouldn't be RT worthy critic...still waiting for top crtitics reveiws...looking at what's going on here there's no point in reading other reviewers reviews.

You're that offended by that word? I've been hearing that word since I was a kid.
Jun 28 - 10:10 AM
I'm not really offended by it but words like that don't appear in reviews of serious reviewers. It seem more like a review from teenager around the age of 13-15.

It's not as much being offended as it is a red flag for lack of decorum in the writing.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I have been reading you either hate reboots (which you already hate the movie or will be watching it trying to find all its faults) or you don't care about reboots and just love spider-man. I am a huge fan of spider-man, and I think sony and Raimi F'd up and left his spidey trilogy in ruins, to the point that we needed a reboot. I wasn't a huge fan of the reboot idea when I first heard it, I thought maybe go the incredible Hulk route and just show clips of his origin during the opening credits, but we know how that turned out (imo inc. hulk was a bad movie, not as bad as ang lee's but bad). I think that if Andrew was going to bring spidey back to the big screen he deserves to re-create the character for his own, instead of trying to just pick up where Tobey left off. It maybe to soon for most people cause everyone is comparing it to Raimi's, but lets not forget Raimi didn't invent spider-man, and I honestly don't think even 15-20 years wouldn't have made a difference people still compare reboots to the original regardless of time passed. I say give Andrew, Emma, and Marc Webb a chance. I am ultimately treating this film like Raimi's spidey was one comic book series, and this is Webb's comic book, still same spidey just a little different which is alright with me. I also believe us as fanboyz have been very spoiled these last 12 years with our comic book movies and hold these movies up to too high of standards and forget to just be happy and have a little fun watching our favorite comic characters come to life. I have my tickets for Mid-night in IMAX, and I hope to see a lot of you there.

Thank you for your thoughts. :) Awesome!!

Oh yeah, because I'm sure the audiences would just LOVE to watch a movie filled with monologues.

you come across as the biggest fanboy ever. stop commenting on EVERY negative review

This guy spends the majority of the time praising the reboot over the original (not all the comparisons were fair to the original, given the naive and sweet guy approach worked for Maguire).
Then he spends the rest of the time complaining about the lizard. I don't mind rotten reviews but this review is terrible.

Hey, is this where people mad about reviews to a movie they haven't seen come?
I hope so, because I haven't seen it but I'm mad about some of these reviews.

The actual review was nice. But saying the Lizard was bad made the whole review bad? WTF? I DONT EVEN!?
