I don't know so far I saw this and this from Chud.com or something...apparently others critics from those sites weren't accepted by RT :p...it's a pitty.
I think that the only reason that Brett's review does not officially appear here is because he is a new reviewer at the site and therefore has not joined the RT community as of yet. This is unfortunate and I hope that it changes soon because the more the merrier. However, by reading my review, it takes you to the site and you can read his there for a differing opinion. So long and keep reaching for the rainbow
Because Rotten Tomatoes is owned by Warner Bros. aka DC comic, Marvel's competitor, and every time a Marvel movie comes out they post the bad reviews first to try and lower hype
What's upsetting though is half these so-called "rotten" reviews aren't even really rotten or saying it's a bad movie. That and their chief criticisms are that it even exists.
Yeah but really even more than critics reviews I value opinion of real fans of the character and all of them say that it's very good movie...and way better than Raimi's.
Actually the first Spiderman films holds a 89% I just don't understand why are you acting like a bunch of bitchy fanboys, you want the reboot to have a higher score than the other films? Raimi's films are awesome. We were promised an "Untold story" and yet it's the same story. I don't know guys but you should relax

I didnt like Raimi's choice of casting. His J. Jonah Jameson, Gwen Stacy, green goblin and aunt may were great choices. but as for Tobey Maguire being spiderman that was a horrible choice, he was too old to be in high school, and he was a bit chunky...also Kristen dunst aged terribly through the franchise. She is no MODEL Material. As of the casting right now...it fits and I like Marc Webb's 500 days of Summer...so far hes won me on romance....as long as they relationship between Gwen and peter seem legit, and the acting chemistry is great between peter and gwen stacy i dont see a downfall in this franchise.
I want this to be better than Raimi's movies as well.
Ok, sure, except that you obviously DO care, or you wouldn't be posting here.
I see this bizarre phenomenon over and over. What is it about negative reviews of fanboy movies that causes internet nerds to act like a 4th grader loudly insisting that they don't like the boy/girl they like?
You DO care. Deeply. Passionately. Vigorously. You probably think about The Amazing Spider-Man's Rotten Tomatoes score dozens of times a day. Just admit it to yourself, you'll be happier.
I will be honest. A main reason why I check it out is because I am a research Wikipedia editor of this film...and Rotten Tomatoes reviews should always be a topic per guidelines of a film article article when it comes to updating the score and adding reviews.
Guys you make yourselves look like stupid fanboys. I'm not a hater of this film but i do hate how much trash you talk about the original trilogy. You probably gonna love the movie BUT because you'll have your mind made up before seeing the movie. You bitch in every negative review like you have actual facts to defend the film. Your opinions lose credibility when you defend the movie before you watch it. You are going with your mind set to like the movie. Instead of watch the movie and give your opinions later.
I loved the first 2 films, but couldn't stand toby maguire as Spidey. I feel garfield fits this role so much better then toby did, not just in appearance but Spidey's attitude and personality shine through from the animated series we've come to love through Garfield's acting, something i felt was overplayed or missing at times in the previous films. Having said that i do believe this is a more accurate representation of the comic, and look forward to the developing story fingers crossed involving carnage at some point this time.

I'd prefer You would use Brett Gallman's review :P...He gave 4/5.

Why does it seem that when a site has multiple reviews of the same film, the negative one is getting posted?
