This movie is better than the dark knight rises.
The dark knight rises is a 3 hours of foolishness and crap.
The amazing spider-man is combination of adventure, action, mystery and fun.
Spider-man can beat batman easily and the lizard can kill bane with only one punch.
first off, tdkr is great, and better than this. second, spider-man can't beat batman. and thirdly, the lizard is a CREATURE. bane is a human. of course he could kill him, if he is bigger than him. and just because characters in one movie can beat characters in another one (which in this case they cannot) it doesn't make the movie better. is 'godzilla' better than 'alien' because godzilla can kill the alien? no. and stop commenting on every negative review. i think you like this movie a little too much
I agree, Batman would get his ass handed to him on a platter by Spidey!!! Even if Spidey would have 1 one hand tied behind his back and wore a blindfold... lol
Really? Worse than Catwoman? Worse than both Ghost Rider movies? Worse than the Fantastic Four movies? Worse than Elektra? Worse than Jonah Hex? If you think that this movie, which was actually decent, is worse than those piles of trash, then you either have major taste issues, or haven't seen enough comic book movies to know any better.
1. spider-man isn't better than batman just because he has 'super powers', which seems to be your only defense.
2. lizard is generic and not intimidating. bane is awesome and intimidating.
3. tdkr is only 30 minutes longer than tasm, and you barely feel it.
4. that doesn't make it better.
5. how does that make the movie better at all?
6. first off, why are you mentioning batman begins if you're trying to defend tasm against tdkr? second, batman begins wasn't a huge flop, it is the 118th highest grossing movie of all time in the U.S. third, in the U.S., the dark knight is the 4th highest grossing movie of all time, tdkr is the 6th highest, and tasm is the 59th highest.
btw i know i look stupid arguing on the internet, just had to get that out of my system
Completely disagree. This is the best movie of this franchise to date. Garfield is Spidey and his chemistry with Stone is amazing. But I do want the next script to step it up to match the quality of the characters and the cast.
i havnt seen tdkr but in my opinion the amazing spiderman is the best superhero reboot ever and to say its the worst comic book adapations is stupid
Fatastic four Ghost rider GREEN LANTERN etc
David Nusair you should stick to your day job. As a critic you suck. No sense what so ever in what you've written, it's one of the laziest pieces of writing I've ever had the displeasure of reading.
Yeah, I just saw the film and he writes like I think not seeing it. Once you see it, you feel very different. I love Sam Raimi, but they kind of screwed up the plot putting characters in the wrong places. At the moment Gwen is where she should be. The Lizard was set up, but never used (like in Tim Burton's Batman with Harvey Dent). Here he is fully realized and finally we touch on Peter's parents. If anything, this film is more Batman than the new Batman. Martin Sheen was a perfect Uncle Ben, and didn't hit you over the head with a catchphrase. The Green Goblin is set up slightly and maybe Gwen will die. If so, they have me. 500 days of Summer is awesome as well, check it out. Lazy review? Absolutely. I wonder if this guy even saw the film. Only complain, Denis Leary's death scene. I wasn't sure if he was even dying (spoiler alert, ha ha ha)
