Week after week, I've noticed that the lowest rated film is always the romantic comedy....(even if the action flicks are worse.)

I really like Catherine Heigl. She is gorgeous and talented, but whoever her agent is, should be fired. Isn't this about the tenth turkey in a row that she has been in?

It amazes me that people will read these horrible reviews (94% DO NOT like it) and still pay good money to see this crap.
Apr 28 - 11:47 AM
The Big Wedding is little more than a sitcom within a movie, but it's not offensive as I've read from many critics. The story moves swiftly it's got some cute moments. Face it, Hollywood has to make some light entertainment because a lot of movie-goers are looking for that kind of escapism.
Apr 27 - 11:37 AM
Apparently 24 is a pretty high score. A shame. Waste of good actor's times. Guess I don't have to waste mine.
Apr 26 - 07:37 AM
Something like a 4%. I think that's around the level of the movie "Playing for Keeps"
Apr 25 - 04:47 PM
It's going to pull down a 0%, or maybe a 2% by some Dittman-esque clown saying "The Big Wedding is a classic comedy with excellent performances by all involved!"
Apr 25 - 03:23 PM
It should be 100%, but the people at the Iron Man/Disney monster have been bribing reviewers to give this and anything else that would threaten their movie a bad review.

"Despite a talented cast and its so-called plot living up to its title, The Big Wedding unsurprisingly is a big disappointment featuring rubbish directing, cliched humor, generic pacing, and a lackluster script featuring cardbooard cutouts mistaken for actual characters."

"The Big Wedding" is a cluttered mess that corners a talented cast with unfunny jokes, slack pacing and a cardboard script.
Apr 24 - 05:53 PM
63% is WAY too high for a shit movie like this. I'm thinking more along the lines of 38-49%
Apr 25 - 08:17 AM
I think in a scenario where this gets something really low from All Critics, like Scary Movie 5 or Movie 43-low, then the Audience score would be around 38-49%. But if it has at least a 40 or 41 percentile from all of the critics, the Audience score would most likely be in fresh territory at best. And if God forbid that this movie becomes fresh, the Audience score will end up high. Like audience-score-for-Transformers-2-high.
Apr 25 - 09:14 AM
You're giving too much credit to the masses. Scary Movie 5 is at 5% critically but has a 79% audience score!
Apr 25 - 09:17 AM
Oh man, you're right. So that makes it even worse, then. Even if it is Scary Movie 5 or Movie 43-low, there is a slight possibility that this film might end up with an audience score higher than the average of the number of fresh films in 2013, which is probably low compared to last year. 2013 isn't turning out as well as we thought it would, huh?
Apr 25 - 09:43 AM
"Despite the presence of Susan Sarandon, this Heigl-fueled disaster proves yet again that there's no level of horridness she can't achieve." - 18%
Apr 23 - 06:25 PM
It's like the Family Stone all over again. I'm going to go ahead and guess 52% to match that other rotten movie with a top-notch cast.
Apr 23 - 09:32 AM
23% On the trailer, they were advertising "buy a ticket NOW and bring a friend FREE." I've never heard of a movie Grouponed like that before, must be TERRIBLE, but people will see it because of the all star cast and it seems harmless enough (and Hey, BOGO!)

The Big Wedding is full of heart with uplifting performances, truly a work of art to behold.
Apr 21 - 10:53 AM
I say less than a 20%. Even the trailer is painfully unfunny. It seems like one of those movies that the cast sleep walks through in order to get a paycheck. And has ben barnes ever made a decent movie?
Apr 15 - 05:39 PM
This looks really good. I'm not a romantic comedy fan, but I love all these actors. I'm taking the approach of too many good actors to be bad. I'll guess its in the 70s/80s range.

That's your opinion (along with 64 reviewers, who rated it 6%). So don't go see it. Of almost 10,000 audience members (9,632) 76% liked this chick flick. I'd much rather watch this than some shoot-em-up car-chase-scenes testosterone-filled action crap.
