The reviews thusfar are really bumming me out. This book was so beautiful/inspiring/heartbreaking that it doesn't deserve the critical scrutiny the film adaptation is getting. Granted, I haven't seen the film, so these are all empty words. Maybe this was a City of Bones/Percy Jackson scenario where the book was superb and the movie fell flat. I'll come back when I watch it. XD

I honestly think this can go either way. I can see some critics loving it and some hating it. It'll probably land somewhere in the 50's. I'm going to go with 53% final score. Hope I'm wrong..
