Joan Crawford plays a nightclub singer who masquerades as a high-society lady at the suggestion of a count. While staying two weeks at a resort, two disparate men fall in love with her. Fortunately, one of those men loves her regardless of her social standing and stands beside her when her real identity is revealed.

Though not one of her strongest features, it's still worth seeing this melodrama, made by Dorothy Arzner, the only woman director in the studio system, and starring Joan Crawford in one of her typical parts.
