Movie Info

This western chronicles the exploits of a recruit in an all-black regiment of the US Cavalry stationed in post-Civil War Texas. The only white man in sight is their commanding officer who makes the men do things to serve whites such as ordering the men to attack an Indian tribe because the chief has become friends with one of the soldiers. The attack results in the needless death of several regiment members. Those that survive begin to question their blind obedience to a white man.
