markbart0305 writes: on Jul 03 2008 09:04 PM Why the **** would they add this review when you can't even read it because she didn't even finish it, or at least hasn't posted the full review yet? Hey rottentomatoes, how about I write a small paragraph praising The Dark Knight and pass it off as a review. Would you count it? (Reply to this) |

evanset6 writes: on Jul 03 2008 09:06 PM SnowShackles, you're a moron. The Departed is a masterpiece. Please refrain from saying things on here that give away the fact that you have no taste in movies. On the other hand... God I can't wait to see this flick!!!!! (Reply to this) |

jesusne0 writes: on Jul 03 2008 09:22 PM I'm as overly-excited for this movie as much as the next guy, but those are some serious accusations for a comic book movie, even for Nolan's sake. (Reply to this) |

austere writes: on Jul 03 2008 09:30 PM In reply to this comment (#1837103) Nolan is one of the best directors ever IMO. I would go see a movie about a pile of crap if he directed it. Sure it is a Batman movie, but it takes a great director like Nolan to turn a Batman movie into a "masterpiece" and then get a great cast such as Ledger as the Joker (which everyone thought was a bad idea at first) and now he is having oscar buzz. Verlander writes: on Jul 03 2008 09:47 PM This could be the dumbest quote I've ever read on RT. The character dresses up as a giant bat and confronts a guy in clown make-up. Please refrain from calling it a crime drama for heaven sake. Where does "Batman & Robin" rank on your crime drama list? (Reply to this) |

backtothefront88 writes: on Jul 03 2008 10:12 PM In reply to this comment (#1837172) You're about as ignorant as they come. Please try to do some research before making baseless accusations - especially when you use one of the worst examples as a basis for your so-called "opinion" (Reply to this) |

markbart0305 writes: on Jul 03 2008 10:15 PM In reply to this comment (#1837169) Well, The Dark Knight was heavily inspired by Heat according to Nolan, and if you saw the first 7 minutes of the film, it looks like its straight out of a crime film. (Reply to this) |

dystopiandweller writes: on Jul 04 2008 03:16 AM In reply to this comment (#1838186) Yeah, jmills, I admit that I've never really trusted or been crazy about Staci's critiquing. I'll never forgive her for enjoying Saw 4, and hating The Host. But she also rarely gives perfect scores or heaps such praise. And yes, Verlander, this movie is a crime drama. I mean, for god's sake man, how is it not?? (Reply to this) |

mreed3562 writes: on Jul 04 2008 04:21 AM Verlander, I have read where Nolan himself has called it an 'epic crime drama.' So...she's calling a crime drama because she's seen the movie...and you haven't. (Reply to this) |

Archmage_Quintus writes: on Jul 04 2008 07:09 AM Ok, if it is about crime, and the investigations/prosecutions that follow, how could it not be a crime drama? (Reply to this) |

I agree with evanset6, you have horrible tastes in movies (Reply to this) |
