Possibly the best thing about Nolan is his refusal to insult the intelligence of the viewer. All of his films, The Dark Knight included, are surprisingly intellectually stimulating. Not to mention incredibly entertaining.

I agree with you on that one and I honestly dont see how people can think the avengers is better then the dark knight
