this review gives evidence for his points by citing things that didn't happen and by claiming things that happened, didn't, (how can he possibly claim that only lowlife criminals and one good guy died from the joker, when there are plenty of innocent and important people killed? some examples are when a woman was blown up in her car, a man was poisoned by his drink, and another killed for dressing like batman and trying to help others) it looks like he had a plan to be contrarian long before he watched the movie (two years late)

Actually, This movie's far better. It's not just a superhero movie, it can stand on its own as a great movie all around. It blurs genre definitions and shows the concept of Batman in the gritty context that it's made to be in. Seriously, not liking the movie is one thing. The problem with this critic, and many others of this movie, is that they base their negative review around the hype this movie has received. Telling us that a movie is "flawed and overrated" means nothing. The question a critic should answer is "Is it worth watching?" Casablanca is flawed. It may be overrated as well. But it's still GOOD.
