The Dark Knight Footage Leaked!
Okay, just a few seconds of footage. But still.
by Jeff Giles | August 02, 2007
Discuss Article
We've got a little under a year to go before The Dark Knight graces our cineplex screens, but Warner Bros. knows how to parcel out morsels for hungry fans -- now, to go along with the steady stream of casting information, photos, and the first teaser, Latino Review is offering footage of Batman's motorcyle (A.K.A. "The Batpod") in action.

It isn't award-winning footage, to be sure; this shaky clip was obviously shot from a distance, and probably without official approval (translation: catch it now, before it's cease-and-desisted offline). But hey, it's free, and given the long wait between now and opening day, this is probably the kind of stuff eager fans will have to content themselves with for at least a few months. For now, enjoy these few moments of surreptitious footage, and let your imagination fill in the blanks. July 18, 2008 is only 350 days away -- click on the link below and watch the Batpod in action!

Cool. i wonder if that was actually Bale or a stuntman. I kinda just wish they stuck with the kickass tumbler from begins, but he does look pretty cool on that.

Gahhh....not going to look at that.

That's not exactly a leak of footage from the way the article is written. Sounds more like some random dude with a camera. Wouldn't leaked footage be actual frames shot by Nolan?

Those guys by the camera sure had the giggles. Wonder if we'll see them in the movie?

Obviously, I am not above telling a white lie to get you to click on a story.

You don't need to lie to get us to click on it. If it has "The Dark Knight" in the title it's nearly enough to shut the website down.

i still don't have to judge it but my gut stil feels it will amaze me. i think nolan

is going for a sleek, tenacity, and speed on this bat vehicle after the tumbler showed

the power, prescence and unstoppablity. nevertheless, both vehicles do say fear "Thu Bat-

man!" still, i hope this Bat-Pod actually can use an i-pod as well. i foresee many apple

stockholders smiling on this movie release date.

i know the feeling gimy. thats why i stick to sluts of the world like transformers.

those michael bay movies are real sluts and always give it up without even asking.

unfortunately, after the initial satisfying impression, they often leave our brain

feeling like it contracted some sort of s.t.d.

Damnit Bay,those S. T. D.,really sting. i've learned my lesson, hey rush hour3 is coming

I was on that street in my travels to the United States.

Me and my girlfriend were in Chicago and managed to find some signs saying 'SET, so we followed them and they first stopped outside a restaurant, and then later on stopped outside a building where the windows were all blacked out.

I asked a rather big guy carrying a walkie talkie (clearly associated with the goings on in the building) what was going on. He said "We're shooting a film. Well, part of a film." I pushed him further asking him what film and he said, with some cool, "The new Batman film."

Unfortunately they were doing a night scene and I couldn't hang around to watch! Gutted.

Whats next?????? Bat cycle??? LOL...ohh please please make it a pink one while you're at it...

Oh by the way, I'm being sarcastic. So let me get this straight...They've thrown away the Batmobile and replaced it with this joke?????..hmmmm well I know the film is gonna be amazing maybe I can just settle with this. Ohh boy I'm really missing the awesome Batjet or something like that that was in Tim Burton's original Batman. I wish they would've used something..just a tad little something like that in the film..Ohhhhhhhh I forgot, realistic you say..I'll shut up now..
