New Dark Knight, Transformers 2, Green Zone Photos Surface
Scary Ledger, sweaty Damon, and nifty cars.
What do The Dark Knight, Transformers 2, and Green Zone have in common?
Well, not much, really...but they all had new images reach the Web this week, and we're rounding up the related links here!
SuperheroHype! has been keeping an alert eye out for new Transformers 2 developments, and in the last week, they've picked up (via Internet Business Daily) shots of "three Saleens with the Barricade decals being towed around in Culver City," followed by photos of "Optimus Prime on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles." Yes, they're just pictures of cars being towed, but -- as SuperheroHype! notes -- "something is definitely going on."
Meanwhile, over at TheBadandUgly, photos from the set of Paul Greengrass' Green Zone, starring Matt Damon as a CIA agent searching for WMD, surfaced. Again, nothing incredible -- the shots are literally just pictures of Damon on the set -- but they'll give you a small idea of what you'll see in the film.
Finally, last but certainly not least, IESB is featuring a quartet of new Dark Knight stills -- three of them featuring Heath Ledger as the Joker. As IESB notes, "Ledger's performance really does look like the stuff nightmares are made of."

on Apr 04 2008 06:17 AM nice...i'll be there opening day on all 3...cept, the TDK link makes you log in and register. nah, i too lazy... i still find it ironic Barricade looks EXACTLY like the dodge charger police cars in Bay's previous movie...the Island. (Reply to this) |

![]() on Apr 04 2008 08:28 AM Pictures from the first transformers passed off as the sequel pictures. I love it. Also love how you have to register to look at the dark knight photos. Not very newsworthy stuff here (Reply to this) |
![]() on Apr 04 2008 08:34 AM Just get transformers done and I'll be there. If you're thinking of posting to just hate on Bay and the transformers movie don't do it. We've been through it already. You think he's an idiot and he ruined your childhood memories of gigantic robots that transformed into little guns and boomboxes we understand. Hopefully he'll make you guys happy and kill of Sam and bring in Spike. All I want is Grimlock and Metroplex and I'll be good. (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 08:37 AM I'm stoked for Dark Knight, but I'm avoiding Transformers 2 like the plague....not because Bay "raped my childhood" or whatever, but just because Transformers was boring and derivative as hell.... (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 08:59 AM I just registered for the Batman pics and logged in, but it still says I can't access the pics. Maybe they're gone. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Apr 04 2008 09:21 AM that there just made my day, and they even have a pic of what Devastator might look like. I know Bonecrusher was in the first movie and he is also 1/6 of Devastator? Maybe they can work that out some how, like he was in the first movie but he is also capable of joining up. But i cant wait to find out who wil be the new bots for teh Autobots, skyfire? tracks? Hound as a 2010 Jeep prototype? (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 10:07 AM THE DARK KNIGHT SPOILERS The new Ledger pics were up over at FilmDrunk.com almost all of yesterday. As fantastic and intriguing as they were (one featuring the Joker make-up less, in a cop uniform, mouth mutilated), I kind of want to avoid all TDK news now and knowing too much before the movie. For those really interested, there were also two photos of the Joker in a nurses uniform in a hospital room, complete with blonde wig, holding a rather large pistol. It was unclear who the patient was, but it look male. All of the pictures were freaky... terrific as predicted. I just want to wait for the movie though. (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 10:10 AM THE DARK KNIGHT SPOILERS Oh yes, there was also a 4th pic, that I don't think was of Ledger. It was a dead guy in a fake rubber bat cowel, just lying in the street. his ching and mouth were mutilated and made up like the Joker. And a knife was in his chest that also held a Joker card (calling card). Oh and there was also a noose around this characters neck. Again though... it didnt' appear to be the Joker. (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 10:37 AM Just a little side note..Barricade is NOT a Dodge Charger..It's a Ford Mustang partner..And I agree with what Deneco4 said about the pics..Screen shots of Barricade sitting on a tow truck is not enough to prove they're Transformers 2 pics..Settle down kids (Reply to this) |
|
on Apr 04 2008 11:16 AM no need for the SIDE NOT bra...i know what Barricade is, a mustang saleen. but the model is EXACTLY like the chargers. with Bay wh3ring the Island out for Dodge...i just thought it was funny they didn't make Barricade a Dodge since both cars from different movies looked so similiar. every action scene you saw in the Island had a frikkin Dodge symbol and those kick2ss black Chargers. heck you even had crappy dodge caravans in it as well. if anything though...i'd j2zz my pants if they made a character out of my fav truck...an SRT-10. (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 11:40 AM you'd "j2zz your pants" if they made a character out of an srt10? wow... that's... great... (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 12:14 PM yeah silver...i would. it sucks that they stopped making the "fastest production truck ever". that thing was the sh3t. sorry i'm a guy and i like dodge trucks. maybe if they made one out of a Miata...you'd be happy. or an eclipse...wooo wee...now THERE's a manly ride... (Reply to this) |

on Apr 04 2008 12:37 PM Michael Bay sucks, if only to piss off people who actually waste their time defending him. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Apr 04 2008 12:43 PM Those three Joker pics are absolutely amazing. Wouldn't ever wanna be treated by that nurse! :D (Reply to this) |
|
on Apr 04 2008 01:50 PM this is obviously just a shot in the dark, but my guess is the patient the Joker is "treating" in the TDK pics is Harvey Dent (Reply to this) |
![]() on Apr 04 2008 03:01 PM Do a search on youtube for the new TDK pics, and you should be able to find them... although they are being taken off pretty quick. But for the record, the pics are surprisingly good if you can get a glimpse. (Reply to this) |
