This list proves to me why Rottentomatoes is better at giving awards and recognition then the golden globes (cough- the oscars too -cough), its nice to see everyone get a piece of the tomato they deserve. They all made something new and refreshing, and are these guys are the some of the biggest contributers as to why 2008 was a great year at the movies. (Reply to this) |

Anyway, "The Dark Knight", "WALL-E", both among my top 25 faves, and "Man On Wire", which I just saw, is the best documentry I've ever seen. And the really underated "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" getting one is great. I mean when I read that "27 Dresses" made more money than it, I lost hope in humanity. As for "Teeth"... looks like channeling your inner exploitation film director works out. Maybe someone could still do a remake to "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls." Well, Golden Tomatoes, you're my new favorite award. I hated the Oscars since Best Animated Feature was made. (Reply to this) |
