Critic Review - Hollywood & Fine

At times, the action is so massive and thunderously clunky that I might as well have been watching one of the Transformers movies.

Some people just want to be contrary so they can attract attention. Ignore this wannabe. When ALL the other critics are overwhelmed with the power and expertise of this movie, I will believe them.

Look, I dont know if this movie is good or not, but I DO know that it's better than Spider-Man, which he gave a positive review to.

A crashed website and being forced to hide his review on RT? Meh...His punishment must be more severe.

Movies this "critic" liked more than The Dark Knight Rises - Spider-Man, Rock of Ages, Mansome, The Dictator, Safe, The Lucky One, Albert Knobbs, and In Time just to name a few. lol

This guy is upset with the movie because Bane is "forced to wear a mask" and viewers are "forced to believe the world is full of super-villains" ... is this guy fucking serious? DOES HE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT COMIC BOOKS ARE ABOUT?

Then how do you explain the world of spider man? A guy that turns into a giant lizard? And we all know there's PLENTY of outlandish villains for spider-man to fight. Instead, in TDKR we are shown that EIGHT years have passed since the Joker/Harvey Dent incident. Mister Fine, please explain this "world of super-villains" to me and everyone else.

Evan H: The guy knows nothing about comics. He gives props to a movie with a giant lizard man yet trashes a movie about a very well-built and intelligent sociopath who simply wants to wreak havoc. In other words: Bane: Unbelievable. The Lizard: TOTALLY REAL!

The majority rules. Based on his "review" it's so obvious this "reviewer" has NOT given the movie a chance. It's a sad and lame attempt to drive traffic to his crummy website. A lame attempt to be "different" for the sake of being different. NO I have not seen the movie (yet) but I am familiar enough with Nolan's past work to know that it's a solid film. No annoying racist robots, not based on a friggin' BOARD GAME, no fart jokes, etc. OKAY so it has action. What the HELL do you expect? A chess match between Batman and Bane where the loser has to leave Gotham forever? A twenty minute monologue on the evils of the world? JESUS CHRIST.

Rotten Tomatoes should have an option to remove reviews by vote, because it's clear this guy is trying to make a name for himself, and receive some publicity by being the hipster reviewer.

And I've known some SNOBBY ass hipsters who happen to love the dark knight. It's because of the depth of the film and the tough choices the characters have to make. The lack of a "happy" ending. I say this again: These are some heavy duty film SNOBS.

This is a great idea. In fact, we should extend it to more than movie reviews. Maybe we can vote to censor internet sites and news next! Or maybe movies themselves!
