At times, the action is so massive and thunderously clunky that I might as well have been watching one of the Transformers movies.
is this a spoiler free review

Not exactly. The fool pretty much mentions the outcome of the Bane vs Batman fights without warning. Not in detail though thankfully.

Jesus, why are people so mad? It's just his opinion. Not everyone is going to like the movie.
Jul 16 - 08:38 AM
GTFO How can you compare Transformers to TDKR, which at least will challenge us with philosophical ideas!!
lol what a douche.
Here comes the hate.

Congrats on being the first troll. You'll never admit it but I'm sure you already had your review drafted before you even saw the film.
LOL... not going to lie, that blurb sounds like The Avengers.

Good, someone who is not afraid to mention this is going to suck. I applaud you for that Marshall Fine. It will be a good story, but I really prefer the Original Batman. This one too me always look like Batman Beyond, but without the high tech gadgets.
Troll harder bro lol

Not Trolling, I have seen and read the Batman comics, while to many this is the greatest thing. I will personally like to see other stories of either the Original Batman or base on the brave and bold series. Many people said Batman does not kill but then they have never read the The Case of the Chemical Syndicate story which he does kill. Even the new 52 universe launch is a better story line than the Dark Knight series. I am watching the movie, watching the premier son, but I am not going to go with the flow and be like OMG this is the best ever shit...
Jul 16 - 08:57 AM
That makes sense to me. I agree that there have been better batman stories told in comics. Though you just said this will "suck" lol. I dunno what your opinion is of the first two films, but I felt they were amazing. Case of the Chemical Syndicate is old as hell dude. It's issue 27 of detective comics, and very few people have read it. Batman hasn't killed in years. The character was changed a long time ago.

CLassic case of knowing just enough to be dangerous. There are actually very few Batman stories better than The Long Halloween and The Dark Knight Returns which Nolan borrows heavily from for his movie's. I loath the people who want Batman to regress ala the old TV show and The Brave and the Bold. Frank Miller did the world a favor by bringing the original ideals of Batman back and making them new and original again. If you want campy Batman watch the old TV show and movie.

dethburger hates Flixster
Seems like your mind is already made up before the fact.
You are the anti-fanboy.
Makes your opinion just as valid TOO. (thats two OO's)
Jul 16 - 10:50 AM
Oh, you prefer the "Original Batman". Fat Adam West in a diaper.
Jul 16 - 03:40 PM
Yea, your a sorry excuse for a critic, go watch MIB III and learn how to rate movies...idiot.
Jul 16 - 08:41 AM
My only issue is that he critizies this film for having massive clunky action like The Transformers but then gives The Avengers a positive review which actually has massive Transformers like action. I call bullshit. We all know Nolans penchant for practical effects. He wouldnt let things get that outta hand....

OK... The bashing commences.
Marshall you dont know how much you fucked up giving the first rotten review on TDKR Hahaha

He gave a Fresh for Rock of Ages... lol.
Jul 16 - 08:44 AM
Guys, its his opinion and that's what a film critic is. There are going to be more rottens, but it's their opinion to say if the movie is good or not. So calm the hell down.
Eat my boogers, dude
