Movie Info

Story of resistance to British rule in colonial America. This film version of the George Bernard Shaw play draws less from the Irish born playwright satirical jabs at the British and leans more towards the heroic action of the protagonists against the Crown. Lawrence Olivier plays the British General Burgoyne as he opposes colonists Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster.
