Glad you liked it. No argument on the movie's greatness either.

anyone who said it had no re-watch appeal is dead wrong

I'll watch it again. But it's just not that good of a movie. Technically sound, just not clever, scary, or inventive...at all.

Which is funny because for someone who gets Ti West, I'm blown away how you don't get this...

Sorry, but what does Ti West have to do with this? Are you referring to the re-watch appeal? I think it depends on the individual. If you like a film enough, regardless of what it is, it always has potential to be watched again.

Well. i just happened to have found it scary, funny (even though it wasn't supposed to be, it did have it's moments). and found it in it's own way very clever (their little, subtle homage to the card scene in the original was really well placed)

Maybe its me but blu-rays in Toronto are expensive. i have friends in other places who buy them for almost half of what i pay.

I usually buy them used, or at Target on the Tuesday they are released, when they are on sale.

Scary Movie 5 is the happening forum now. But it isn't as entertaining as Evil Dead's was.

That's a shame. It is much more fun to talk about a movie you are excited about then a movie you hate, I've found.

Yeah, I have better things to do than spend time on a forum for Scary movie 5. Sorry if that sounds rude but that Jim Starling jackass really made my blood boil. I hate to admit that I've never been angrier at anybody on this site.

Yeah, I saw that. There was a similar thread, except the guy took a religious view-point. Nobody really posted on it though...

Oh yeah, that guy. I'm actually pleased with the morally indignant people. Reminds me of the moms who protested the original Evil dead.
