wait for the DVD and BluRay . . . yet, I don't see why Stdio Executives never seem to read these comments. RELEASE AN NC-17 VERSEION OF EVIL DEAD TO PLAY AT MIDNIGHT SCREENINGS and Release an R-version of Evil Dead for general wide-release. its easy, inexpensive and the studio will stand to make more money with people wanting to see both versions of the movie theatrically.

Why would Evil Dead be close to NC-17? It's supposed to be funny scary, not gory scary.

The original Evil Dead wasn't playing it for laughs. That came in part 2 and Army of Darkness.

I hope they fall flat on their faces with this. For 2 decades we have asked for an Evil Dead 4, and we get a fucking remake.

It's called "EVIL DEAD" If it's too much for us, Why don't Hollywood call it "The Not So Nice Dead" Fuck CENSORSHIP especially when it comes to my entertainment dollars!!!
