The Fighting American (1924)
A bet between fraternity brothers starts all the trouble in this lively romance. One boy wages that the other dare to propose to a lovely young woman. He does, and the flustered woman, who really does love him, but knows about the bet, rejects him and returns to China to be with her father, a missionary. Soon afterward, the lad realizes that he really does love the girl and sets out to prove his sincerity.
