So so bad! But so so good! I'm on the fence as to whether the humor was intended or not, but its sincerity is infectious!

This movie is really like no other! The story is good and it is really hillarious! I mean middle-aged men playing Beat-Beat Revolution a dancing game...

no lie, I kind of loved this, for all that it was pretty incomprehensible in places. and the pacing wasn't the greatest, but wow, I definitely enjoyed the invented slang and the wonderful clothes and the post-apocalyptic setting that isn't so very different from our own, but eerily heightened. it actually put me in mind of golden age shoestring indie flicks like Repo Man.

A ton of early 2000s humor that gets old 30minutes into the film. It would have been better had it come out during the DDR fancraze phase. The movie however looks amazing and the acting isn't bad. There just isn't enough substance to drag the movie out for 1.30hrs. It would have been better as a 30-45minute short. You'll chuckle at the absurdity of it and enjoy the costume designs, but it is a novelty film that quickly wears down your patience and attention span. This is a great movie to push the nostalgia button of any veteran DDR player. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else who doesn't understand the game and community. It really is an "inside joke" kind of movie.

As esoteric as any movie could ever be, and if you happen to belong to the small contingent of people who'll get the joke, you're going to love it.

"Better check your grill!"-JTRO (Jason Trost)
Yo, yo! Check it, there be mad ghetto Shakespearian monologin' keepin' the flip side of boring, flowing. Bleed dat.
It's a crap movie with moments of pure hilarity. It is retarded.

Almost definitely doesn't deserve the 3 and a half stars I'm giving it, but fuck it. This will be a cult classic one day. Mark my words.

In the future rival gangs fight for control of a lawless suburban town, gaining power and street cred by winning dance video game duels. You have to give THE FP credit for playing the goofy idea straight, but unfortunately the overall message seems to be that the wannabe gangsters of the apocalypse will be just as annoying as today's youth are.

Pretty much the best movie I've seen in the last three or four years and if you don't like it then you can go sleep in a tent on the street cause you ain't got no cred you cranberry juice motherfucker.

We are through the ironic looking glass. Nothing is allowed to become a cult hit on its own merit anymore; all humor has been pre-chewed for your enjoyment. How come everyone is acting circles around the writer/director/star of the movie?

This might be the greatest film about Dance Dance Revolution. The movie is hilariously insane, it has a Bloodsport type storyline. The best part about this film is the techo soundtrack, it's so amazing. For a independent film, it's pretty solid.

Dumb dialog, bro. Ridiculous costumes, and a totally absurd premise. Gangsters run, fight, and die, battling each other over BEAT BEAT REVELATION... aka, in our universe as DDR. All told with a straight face, and the seriousness of an epic period piece. Yo, It's fucking brilliant and funny as hell.

Every one who's ever been in or wanted to be in love should watch this film, to better understand what it's all about.
This movie isn't just about redemption and justice, it's about love. Brotherly love, romantic love, love in friendship, this movie touches on them all, exploring with prolific prose and poignant patter the oft times tumultuous ins and outs of the heart. Never have I been so touched by film, never has one come so close to showing that it understands what regular people go through.
