Critic Review - NPR

The Swedish version was sloppier and trashier, which suited the material. If that movie was more lurid, it also packed more genuine emotion.

Not a bad review anymore than it is merely the wrong kind of review.

I will have to look elsewhere for an assessment of this film that doesn't use the Swedish film as the rubric and measuring stick. (Note: those reviews have mostly been glowing.)
