Great Gatsby is a really hard film to find its audience, because not a lot of kids or teens would be interested in it. I guess it appeals to DiCaprio fans and visual freaks (looking at you Life of Pi fans).

Life of Pi had some great visuals, but you sit through some pretty good storytelling before getting to them. So "visual freaks" is a description that probably doesn't fit the average fan of the film.
