How can a low inspiration movie get a fresh tomato rating. This rating was way off base, IMO. Should have been rated rotten.

The reason that this review is certified fresh, is because he gave the movie a positive rating. This isn't the full review, its a preview of the review that's the gist of what his opinion is. In a review, you have to list the good and bad elements of a movie, you're basically saying that a movie should be considered bad because it has one flaw, even if the number of positives outnumber that one flaw.

What does Seabiscuit have to do with anything about this movie. Other that to set up your reference. Who directed Pleasantville , present a story thats not so pleasant.
