Set Pics from The Incredible Hulk!
The Incredible Hulk isn't due to smash into theaters until June 13 of next year, but SuperHeroHype has shots from the set!
The pictures -- taken on Toronto's Yonge Street, which is standing in for Harlem for this part of the production -- don't feature any action, but there are some pretty cool shots of what looks to be the aftermath of a big green rampage. Click through to the link below to get a look!
Oh, and here's something we must have missed somehow:
Variety has confirmed that Lou Ferrigno has a role in the film.
Awesome.

on Sep 17 2007 05:29 AM There's more action in those 5 photos alone than the entire 1st movie. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 07:05 AM just because they added "the incredible" to the title isn't going to make this any less retarded than ang lee's piece of trash. ya know, the one from 4 years ago. hollywood, this is sad, even for you. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 09:40 AM I like how far they go to let us know it's supposed to me Harlem. Look at the last picture. There's graffiti that says "this is Harlem" right under a sign that says Harlem on it. Off camera there's probably one that says "not Toronto". (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 10:38 AM pics from the Hulk set, or the after effects of a britney-paris-lohan-hogan drag race? tough to say...tough...to say... (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 12:24 PM dahluzz, you're right. Just because they added "Incredible" to the title doesn't mean it will be better. The fact that they got Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, and kicked Ang Lee out of the director's chair means it will be better. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 01:34 PM I didn't mind Hulk. It was very colourful and stylised. I thought the comic pages worked well. It probably won't age that well but it was the closest to a comic book, visually, that I'd ever seen. The ending was a bit of a let down but it had some very good actors and set pieces. I know people who absolutely hate this film. It is what it is, someone elses interpretation of superhero character. The series served its purpose but wasn't the Comic Hulk. As cheesy as that was, again, its another interpretation. I'm a little bit surprised with the choice of Edward Norton, I've never really seen him as an A list actor. Sorry Edward fans but hes a bit wimpy...actually..that might work in the Incredible Hulk. Who knows?!? FURY (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 02:46 PM Ferrigno played a security guard in Ang Lee's Hulk movie. big deal. i didn't have as big of a problem with that Hulk movie as a lot of people did. sure, it had a long set-up, but most superhero origin stories do. and yeah, the villain kinda sucked (really, a Gamma-mutated poodle?) but Hulk's villains were never really the appeal of the Hulk character. it's not like he's ever had the fantastic rogues gallery like Batman has. Hulk's pretty much his own enemy, he's the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of comics. i don't fault Lee for trying to add some psychology to the Hulk story, but i guess in the end, most people just want to see a buttload of HULK SMASH! on Sep 17 2007 06:35 PM In reply to this comment (#1131636) Norton is supposed to be scrawny. Bruce Banner isn't exactly a bodybuilder here... (Reply to this) |
on Sep 17 2007 06:45 PM Well, Hulk just didn't work for me at all. I remember my friend raving about how good it was. then I saw it and, ... uhhh... uhhhggg god. Turns out, he also like AVP and Norbit... I like the guy, but I can't bounce for his tastes. As for this one, like Herberbaly said, it's got Edward Norton, and that guy is genius. So, maybe this'll be good, I'm keeping an open mind. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 17 2007 08:22 PM There was a time when no one thought Heath Ledger would be a good Joker either, but just the way he looks in the costume and talked in the trailer proved them wrong. Norton will be a kick *** Banner. When are we gonna see a Green Lantern movie with Vince Vaughn as Hal Jordan. THAT is perfect casting. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 18 2007 01:40 AM ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! This sounds like more of the same. The trouble with all these new comic book films is the film makers' insistence on mapping out an origin story for the character which invariably consumes the entire first half of the movie. Give me the damn character already!!! That's what killed Ang Lee's version and the last Batman movie. Who's doing the CG on this Hulk? ILM really did a ****ty job on the last HULK! What's wrong with prosthetics and animatronics? (Reply to this) |

on Sep 18 2007 04:20 AM In reply to this comment (#1132847) That's what killed Ang Lee's vision AND the last Batman movie?? LiarDog, your credibility has suddenly vanished. The last Batman movie, Begins, was the best Batman movie to date. And you can't dance around the origin story. You gotta introduce the character and establish the mythos, not just throw him on the screen. (Reply to this) |
