Edward Norton Wants Hulk Sequels
Summary
Were you a little surprised when you heard that Edward Norton had signed on to star in (and ultimately co-write) The Incredible Hulk? Skeptical, even? Well, don't feel bad -- Norton had the same reaction at first. Back to Article

on Jan 24 2008 12:29 PM In reply to this comment (#1515665) Norton has written other pieces. He did a rewrite on Frida that was uncredited due to guild rules. (Reply to this) |
on Jan 24 2008 03:06 PM I loved Bana in 'Hulk', but thought that what he had to deal with as enemies was extremely weak. Actually I was kind of ok with things until the whole dad thing towards the end. I did think that it's too soon for a reboot of a franchise when there are a lot of other characters and stories to explore. (Reply to this) |

on Jan 24 2008 03:32 PM Ya know personally, I am pretty stoked about Norton being banner, he fits the part well. Bana was awesome as hell too, and both Norton and Bana rank within my top 10 for actors. I mean, you see Munich?? That movie was a-mazing. Troy he was great in and even the movie 'The Other Boelyn' girl I am most likely going to see and a good part because Bana is playing Henry, he is very mutli-versed. As far as the original Hulk went I agree 110 with the first few poster that the script had sucked and a lot more could have been advanced to enhance the movie all together. Bana on his part did the best he did, for sure. But after watching the movie on TV a few nights ago I hopped on marvel.com and google/images and just mulled through pictures of the Hulk keeping the one from the movie in mind. The one in the movie has the epitome of a brute; square face, little neck, huge jaw, and all together gigantic. But his face was still very very human like. It was more of a person then a 'monster'. And though a good amount of my Hulk images showed him as more of a giant green person the majority showed his facial features as a bit more exaggerated. Some a larger forehead or a elongated mouth/ chin. Some both, and I think for the new Hulk(s) they may do the same. Personally I would like to see less person in the Hulk and more monster. on Feb 03 2008 07:32 PM Hopefully he understands how much money will be put into the films, CGI, cast payroll, set designs, etc. besides, wouldn't it all be the same story, but with new villains? it will be the story of: The man that wants to find the cure for his condition. it will get repetitive by "The Incredible Hulk 3" besides, if there is more to find (the cure) wouldn't there be less Hulk in the process? on Apr 29 2008 04:06 PM I didn't read comics as a kid... as unpopular as it may be to say. I guess i just had better things to do. But who doesn't love the hulk? I was pumped to see Hulk in 2003, and i thought it was pretty damn good. I knew the back story from seeing some of the tv series in re-runs, but they had to put that in there for those who weren't super familiar with the character (the ladies). What did you expect?... they'd just jump into a story with the Hulk and not explain how he got that way. If you look back at he original superman movie. Holy crap the first half of that was lame... I'm a teenager, my dad died, i can run real fast and kick a football into space (wouldn't the football have exploded if he kicked it that hard). Anyway, I think Bana is awesome. Troy, Munich, these are great movies. But, i did not like him in this. I thought his performance was cheesy. Granted, as it's been said, the script he had to work with was lame, but i think that had Norton been in the first film it would have been a lot better. I'm looking forward to this film, although i think many of you are going to be disappointed with the frequency of the hulks appearance in this film. Everything i've read says that he shows up for a 20 minute fight at the end and that's about it. Anyway, with Norton in this film it should be GREAT!!! (Reply to this) |
