The Muppet charm, always more at home within the intimate frame of a TV set, is gone here.
I'm convinced that if it wasn't for bad taste you'd have no taste at all!!!! Either your retarded or... no your just retarded!!!!

If you are going to call someone "retarded" (which is in poor taste), at least learn that it is "you're" not "your". Thanks.

Dear Rick Groen: I'm sorry you had such a bad childhood.
Now, kill yourself.
Nov 23 - 06:59 PM
typical douuchebag critic giving an acclaimed movie a bad review with no legitimate reason just to stand out

There's a comic about the negative "Muppets" reviews here: http://www.cinemabums.com/?p=180

Way to go. You get to pretend to be cool on the internet by being one of three critics to give this movie a rotten review. Fight the power man.

Groen is a hack

YOU RUINED THE 100%!!!

No movie is for everone. One of our local Kansas City tv reviewers wasn't thrilled with the movie either.
Of course, he's a big turd, but that's no indication of this reviewers character. I'm not particularly fond of Citizen Kane. Its well done, fantastic camera work, lots and lots of character development AND it bores me to tears.
I do like the Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep and rate both of those much higher then Citizen Kane.
So, this guy doesn't dig the new Muppets. Life still goes on.

I tried to read this ridiculous "Review", but all that my eyes were seeing was Trololololololol
Nov 25 - 09:53 AM
This must be really awkward for Rick, since almost everybody else, including me, loved the film.

The movie was funny. There is a constitution for muppet movies to which this adaptation adhered. The movie was clever. There was wit. It appeals to a broad audience. There were plot twists and overall it a savvy piece. But again, this reviewer hails from the epitome of high culture...Toronto, Quebec, Vancouver with Soviet Russia in between.

Globe and Mail gets a bad name cause of this dumb and illogical reviewer
Nov 26 - 06:43 PM
You are a joke of a reviewer. This movie was the best family movie possibly ever made.
Nov 26 - 07:50 PM
How much green have you been smoking, dude?

"Several tunes, umpteen cameo appearances, scores of lame jokes and much up-beat sentimentalizing later, the throngs on the Hollywood streets are cheering wildly, but this old man in the gallery remains unconvinced."
Tunes, cameos, lame jokes, up-beat sentimentalizing? What does he want from the Muppets? That's EXACTLY their charm, who they are, and why we love them!

For me, this movie redefined the meaning of nostalgia. It was a potent, emotional film that shows that even today, the world isn't too cynical for the Muppets. I'm not too sure what the people who disliked this film were looking for. More silliness and less emotion? Are they upset they cried, or didn't cry? Perhaps they are oil tycoons like Tex Richman and lack the ability to laugh. Whatever their reason, perhaps they should look at this movie in a slightly different way, and hopefully they'll see how good of a film this truly was.

Not much point talking directly to the guy - it's not like he's ever going to read this.

98 percent approval. You sir, are a nincompoop. Honestly, your review is out of touch with the masses and zeitgeist. You are offensive in that you are obscenely out of synch with reality.
This is the best-reviewed movie of the year. Fool.
