this is one of my favorite christmas stories of all time. its not a great movie so part of my score is based on nostalgia, but i grew up on this and never missed an year of watching it. creative and different than any christmas movie out there.More
The Night They Saved Christmas is a whimsical and enchanting family film full of Christmas spirit. When Santa's workshop is in danger of being destroyed by an oil company dynamiting in the Arctic, Santa tries to convince the site director to stop the drilling by giving his family a tour of his workshops at North Pole City. Jaclyn Smith and Art Carney lead the cast and deliver excellent performances. The story is well-written with interesting characters and an intriguing Santa Claus mythology. Additionally, the set designs are quite elaborate and imaginative. Heartwarming and magical, The Night They Saved Christmas is a fun adventure.More
