Lodged firmly in the "You go granny!" genre alongside wrinkled fluffery like Calendar Girls and the execrable Boynton Beach Club, The Over the Hill Band at least offers truth in advertising.

Een if these "look at those wacky seniors" moments predominate, there's still a genuine sense of saddened empathy for the marginalized elders-even a (timid) acknowledgment of their still vital libidos.
