A few suggestions after seeing the movie.

Hey guys saw this over the weekend and I have a few suggestions. It was OK, definitely not as bad as Blue Valentine but I think it could have been a lot better with a different director and a different actors and possibly a different title.

First of all I think this should have been done by Michael Bay, the action scenes would have been way better it it would have been more of a blockbuster.

Instead of Ryan Gosling I would have have cast Vincent D Onofrio. He could have handled it better in my opinion.

And instead of, Bradley Cooper which is better suited in romantic comedies, I would have cast Matthew McconnaugHEYYYY. Yeah way better looking and can handle a serious role unlike dopey here.

I like the casting of Eva Mendes, she has been a favorite since clerks 2.

Lastly the title of the movie would have benefited from a single action word in all caps like "Zoom" or "Fast"

if not honestly the idea above would have been better to many anyways at least making it about action would have more of a purpose to this movie then it does now.

from all the reviewers rating this a good movie the fact that this movie simply just ended with one of the dumbest endings i have ever seen to relate to anyone basically a movie about a stupid dad who failed to live his life properly and made even stupider mistakes to the point where he died before his son grew up and then to end it basically where instead of his son learning from it he fell in his foot steps i was hoping for some intelligent purpose to this movie like some sort of creative irony but i seem to still lack that and it seems at best to be what i wrote above unless someone here reviewing this and calling this movie good can write an inteligent academic review on why the ending makes any good or better sense then the beginning this drama seems to lack anything other then the lows and sucks with lack of even intellectual reasoning for the movie in the first place. someone please explain to me whats good about this movie? i feel like i am missing something give me an academic overview of the purpose and real meaning of this movie please.

i literally do not agree with anything you just said. that shit may work for some cheap tim allen feel good movie, but this is actually a decent movie with outstanding actors.
