Primary school vocabulary, missing justification of criticism and seeming not even reviewing the actual film in question, while instead criticising the directors career. Apart from a middle section which reveals moments of clarity and actual insight on the directors filmography, this is a bloated, self-indulgent bore of wasted words.

Well I thought you summed it quite nicely! In my opinion, a load of self-indulgent twaddle...Though the "National Geographic" moments were beautiful, even if drainfully lengthy! ;o)
