Totally agree with most of it. My one beef is that Liam Neeson wasn't a BAD ACTOR in either of the 2 above movies he's linked to. They were just crappy movies; if anything, he was one of the only GOOD things about them (like "Phantom Menace").

Adam Sandler needs to either change it up or go away; his slapstick was never all that funny to begin with, but there were a few bright points (Happy Gilmore). But he hasn't been a part of anything good since Punch Drunk Love (Funny People wasn't bad...but it was rather bland). I can't believe people still pay to see garbage like "Jack & Jill" or "That's My Boy"...

taylor kitsch has already taken enough backlash and beat down in 2012 ... as bad as Battleship was, i think it would be unfair to throw him into the flames again. he already took a lot of heat when he was labeled as a leading man blockbuster misfire when he had not one, but 2 films in the same year with massive budgets (somewhere around $200 million) that both fell flat at the box office and lost the studios millions (John Carter and Battleship) ... i think he deserves another chance because he isnt a great actor, but he is nowhere near as bad as the entire cast of Twilight but seeing as how many studios would judge that he is just not bankable, they will think twice about offering him a lead role in any other film that has a budget north of $100 million ... it would be unfair to throw him into this awards program after all the heat he has already taken, because then he really will have no 2nd chance at any other major film that comes out. these twilight kids get unfair advantages because somehow such stupidness attracts so many people but if given the right films, i think taylor kitchs can make something good... the cast in twilight will never act well no matter what roles are thrown at them

I don't think that's fair. The main trio, maybe (though I did like Stewart's performance in Panic Room and The Runaways), but some of the supporting cast, like Dakota Fanning and Anna Kendrick (the latter manages to portray the most likable character in the series despite her limited runtime) are pretty good.

Nothing about Twilight is "pretty good." The story is awful and pointless, everyone acts like an idiot, the cgi makes "Hoodwinked" look like it was made by Pixar, the main characters are all despicible people, and I don't care what you cusses think, but VAMPIRES DO NOT GLITTER IN THE SUN THEY BURN AND DIE!

Unfortunately The Razzie's have become as predictable and pointless as anything they mock these days. Seriously, there are far worse movie's than Twilight this year, but because it's popular to hate that's what the Razzie's go with. This is like using the BO returns to determine what the best movie of the year is. Yeah in general they'll be pretty good films, but in the end it's just lazy.

It's been the case with the Razzies for quite a while sadly. They're more about jumping the hate bandwagon than anything else. I mean TF3, Eclipse, the first two Star Wars prequels weren't great films, sure, but they were far from being in the bottom five worst films of their respective years. Also, how is it that not a single spoof movie won a worst picture or worst director razzie? I mean at least Michael Bay can shoot impressive action sequences, can anyone name anything reedeming about Disaster Movie or Epic Movie?

Even more questionable are their worst actors and worst actresses awards. Just because an actor is in a bad movie does not mean he gave a bad performance. I haven't seen Battleship, but I have a hard time believing that Liam Neeson put in one of the worst performances of year, given that even in awful movies I've yet to see him give a bad performance.

Unfortunately, even in the worst sequel award Twilight got nominated, despite that being an online voting poll. Shows you that you can never leave it up to internet nerds either (I keep getting images of Comic Book Guy typing furiously "worst movie ever!")
