Audience Reviews for The Wind in the Willows

Imaginative certainly but I have a gripe with the writer/director/actor messing around with Grahame's original story and adding silly things like a dog food factory. Should have stuck with the original novel and would have made the whole thing more magical rather than saturated Python for kids. The cast are all good though, with particular credit to Coogan and Sher. A missed opportunity.

An idiotic adaptation of The Wind in the Willows with some of the Monty Python members. I found it strange how they decided to use human characters with animal features. They looked so unnatural and creepy. The movie is boring and felt like a chore to watch. I think I will stick with Disney's superior classic animated feature the next time I want to go on a wild ride with Mr. Toad. (First and only viewing - 7/18/2008)

Terry Jones injects a hint of Monty Python to make an excellent dramatization of Wind in the Willows.
