Synopsis: Daniel (Michael DiLallo) is a 17-year-old kid living the perfect life, and about to leave his idyllic small-town home and his loving but eccentric parents, and embark upon a college career. This... Daniel (Michael DiLallo) is a 17-year-old kid living the perfect life, and about to leave his idyllic small-town home and his loving but eccentric parents, and embark upon a college career. This summer, though, his world is about to come apart at the seams as strange, unexplainable things start to happen, and the town takes on a sinister mein. Slowly Daniel realizes that alien creatures have taken up residence in the bodies of the townspeople, with the aid of an evil plastic surgeon. Finlay (Alison Eastwood), the odd girl who lives on the outskirts of town, also begins to catch on, and the two try to find a way to stop the alien invasion. Bruce Boxleitner (BABYLON 5) and Nana Visitor (STAR TREK: DS9) deliver excellent performances as Daniel's parents, who keep the audience guessing as to whether or not they are human. The film, an original SciFi Channel production, benefits by this creepy uncertainty, taking up the themes of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS in its speculation of alien life among us. [More]
