For months now, he’s been writing down the perfect way to ask her out, and imagining the perfect date. Much to his surprise, when he finally summons the nerve to ask her out, she says "yes." When the big night finally comes, everything that can go wrong on a date, does – thanks to the constant interruptions from an uninvited stranger (the third wheel). But what starts out as an annoyance could turn into something that surprises them all. -- © 2001 Miramax [More]

Reviews for The Third Wheel
in the end I was starting to feel like I was the third wheel in the relationship between the DVD and my DVD player
As beautiful and amiable as she is amusing, this is one of Richard’s best parts...easily tolerable and not to mention, a tad cute.
Just when the movie should be getting more annoying, it becomes highly enjoyable -- thanks to Lacopo's warm performance.
The Third Wheel sucks, but it sucks a lot less than many films of its kind, with lesser names and worse screenplays, which for some reason get on a whole lot more screens.
