Seems like screenwriter Neal Marshall Stevens ("13 Ghosts" impressed the Paramount folks with his "Superstition" screenplay. Described by Variety as the story of "a scientifically conducted seance that draws a deadly ghost who shifts reality to account for its existence," the project will go into production via Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes shingle. Stevens based his screenplay on the novel by British author David Ambrose. "I think the novel's a great jumping-off point for a movie, especially since I mostly get offered projects that have been done a lot -- usually involving slashers or teenagers trapped in the woods."
