I actually am rarely a fan of these guys and most of their other work; I find most of the other work genuinely melodramatic overlong drawn-out comedies that try too hard to be important. But I have to say about the previews to this film- I completely DISAGREE with you. I thought the previews sold it completely and now I want to see this film. It looks dark, morbid, silly, and totally fun! It doesn't seem to hold vanity as others say- rather, it makes fun of the vanity that abounds in Hollywood. Anything that makes these preachy actors seem more crazily funny and less focused on preaching is a GOOD thing. Also, I though the Emma Watson scene looks particularly amusing- come on, it's a funny reference to Harry Potter as well as a silly slapstick story. Stop being so negative.
