as good as I thought it would be, but interesting nonetheless. Some 'out there' movies I really love, like City of Lost Children, and others I just don't care for at all, like Being John Malkovich, ugh. This one fell somewhere in between. Not sure that I know why, because I felt like I SHOULD have liked it more. 1. Probably would watch it again, if I were in a weird mood.2. Probably not buying it.This Is Spinal TapYes, yes, it's the first time I've seen this classic and yes, I totally get why it's a classic. This mockumentary of everything 'cliché' in the rock world could easily have been redone to fit into today's 21st century rock scene. I'm really impressed with this one and recommend it to anyone that missed it the first time around.1. Would watch it again.2. Would buy it if it was on sale.A Knight's TaleOMG! This was sooo cleverly done. Although I generally detest musicals, this one was so campy that the modern music only enhanced the medieval backdrop perfectly. It was a great movie but without Paul Bettany (Chaucer), it would have never worked so well. Rufus Sewell plays his stock "guy with a complex" role (a la "Dangerous Beauty") well and Heath Ledger as Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstine also performed admirably. I loved this movie.1. Definitely will wear the disc out. :)2. Already own it.Run Lola RunArtsy movie for X-gen'ers. I thought I was one, but maybe I'm not. Didn't get it, didn't enjoy it, but the special effects were admirable and the cinematography was well done. LOVED Lola's hair, reminded me of Milla Jovovich's hair in the Fifth Element.1. MIGHT watch parts of it again for the visuals...probably would channel surf after a few minutes.2. Not worth buying.
