A sequel to MY FRIEND FLICKA (1943), Roddy McDowell (PLANET OF THE APES, OVERBOARD) resurrects his role in the original as Ken McLaughlin, the son of a horse rancher (Preston Foster, LOVE BEFORE BREAKFAST) who undertakes to break in Thunderhead, son of the previous film's star horse. The all-white colt shows signs of being a racing star, but is injured on his first time out; Ken still loves his horse, but when Thunderhead's albino father goes wild, trouble begins to stir. The sire runs rampant across the countryside, stealing mares from all the farms, but when Ken finds himself menaced by the dangerous wild horse, Thunderhead saves him and engages in a battle with his renegade parent.
