In TINKER BELL, young audiences can journey to Pixie Hollow, the home of the fairies in Never Land. The spirited sprite is joined by a number of her magical friends: Iridessa the light fairy, Rosetta the garden fairy, Fawn the animal fairy, Silvermist the water fairy, and Clank and Bobbie the tinker fairies. Fans of the Disney Princess series will find much to like in this offering that introduces characters that children can identify with. Like other Disney films, TINKER BELL boasts beautiful CG animation and a number of celebrity voices: Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenowith, Anjelica Huston, Kathy Najimy, and Jesse McCartney. [More]

Tinker Bell has been given the star treatment. There's plenty of material to mine from Pixie Hollow, which will hopefully provide a rich source for future films.

Sweet and fun, mostly free from overbearing celebrity voices and, while the computer animation is unremarkable, it looks good enough to make the overall impression solid.

A bland, soulless work.

To its target audience, it will be another self-empowerment fable with loads of imagination and colorful, painterly images (and a keen marketing blast for Disney fairies).

A polished, pleasant trifle that should enchant wee ones during hours and hours of repeat viewings.
