Tiramisu concerns an accountant whose newest client changes his life. As he investigates the depleted funds of a larger-than-life actress, he discovers that her complicated personal life holds a certain fascination for him. Tiramisu walks a fine line between feel-good clichés and true character development, though Van der Oest finally makes it all believable because of her direction of the actors.
