I've never loved it this is one of the weakest (not worst) movies of all time in my opinion.

GREAT MOVIE I HATE THAT LOTS OF PEOPLE DONT WANT TO ADMIT HOW GREAT IT IS

This is great movie. So,'Titanic' is my favorite movie. Especially, their acting is so impressive. I want to see this movie one more time.

Still an awesome movie! I cry every single time I watch it, even though I know the end is coming...I know, I'm pathetic! lol

This is a well made movie. The dialogue isn't bad at all. It's decent. It's not shakespere but what the hell should Jack/Rose say then, trolls? This is probably the least cheesy love story I've ever seen. Anyone who doesn't like it is a piece of crap.

It's fine to have your own opinion. Who doesn't? But calling someone a piece of crap for liking or not liking a movie is just plain stupid.

Abso-fucking-lutely brilliant film, my all time favorite actually.

You should check out Harry S. Plinkett's epic review on TITANIC, and I think he sums it up perfectly. Like DOCTOR ZHIVAGO and THE SOUND OF MUSIC, the audience will always have a love/hate relationship with TITANIC. The characters have no depth or dimension whatsoever and the dialogue is fucking horrible, but because of is epic scale and size, sweeping score/cinematography and groundbreaking visuals, it remains a milestone in certain respects. A NIGHT TO REMEMBER is still the best Titanic movie by far; at least everything in that film actually happened.

The dialogue is "fucking horrible?" I think the line about Freud and the male preoccupation with size completely sinks your point right there. It was uppity and snotty, like first-class people were back then, but gritty and wonderfully third-class when it needed to be.

I find it hilarious how people hate & heavily criticize this movie (as well as Avatar) but yet they love shit like Cars & Cars 2, & Taken.

TITANIC is way better than DANCES WITH SMURFS
Dec 15 - 08:37 AM
What the hell is Dances with Smurfs?
Jan 5 - 02:12 AM
Avatar would be my guess, since they look like Smurfs and the story is beat for beat identical as Dances with Wolves (which is itself Pocahontas)
Mar 5 - 06:45 PM
I admit, I laughed through the entire thing when it came out in the theater. I'm not sure I could take it seriously now.
Nov 8 - 05:12 PM
Did you catch it in 3D? It's a whole new level of cheesiness.
Nov 8 - 05:54 PM
I haven't seen it in 3D but I didn't love it when it came on TV again recently. Maybe it really needs the big screen and surround sound to be effective?
Nov 7 - 04:16 PM
Have only seen it the 3D version (don't hate me). Loved it. No one beats James Cameron in making immersive movie experiences.
Nov 7 - 12:43 PM
I was touched by the film again when I re-watched the 3D version!
Nov 6 - 07:10 PM
<3 this movie. Always and forever.
Nov 6 - 06:46 PM
Still a tear-jerker. Still awesome!
Nov 6 - 04:30 PM
Yes, so sad!
