Movie Info

SPAWN is the made-for-cable animated adaptation of Todd McFarlane's grim, Gothic comic about an embodied spirit released from Hell to redress some of the evils he perpetuated during his past life. The spirit has to "clean up" the land of the living, but his work is cut out for him--not only are the living thoroughly corrupt, but a scary-clown nemesis from Hell also gives chase.

Audience Reviews for Todd McFarlane's Spawn

A very dark and very violent series. More "realistic" than most super-hero stories in that the main character (Spawn) suffers greatly even after returning from Hell. A very abstract film for the more sophisticated adult viewer. Jason Wynn is the "best" bad guy ever. He is darker in character than Dr. Doom and the Red Skull combined.
